I have not had a lot of good experiences with guilds lately so I am hoping to find

Hi, I have a couple of comments, some already mentioned.

I don't know how flexible the tool you are using is (and I'm no expert in the subject either), but if possible, it would be really nice, as a user, to be able to pick your own colour scheme and disable background images. The dark background are straining to the eyes (mine at least hehe) and I personally prefer having pages load faster and scroll in a smooth fashion over looking particularly flashy (despite my first response).

Another comment has to do with PMs. It would be nice if there was a more prominent link to the user's inbox. Ideally something as simple as a top menu item called "Messages" that gets updated to "Messages(1)" when you load a new page.

This is all I can think of really. Thanks again for putting so much effort into it.

What class is Branadir?

To me it was never in doubt that my Mini would be a Dorf. The only thing LotRO forced was the gender. Having played (female) Dorf Priest since vanilla WoW (when Fear Ward was a Dorf racial only and very handy when fighting Maggi in MC) to me a Dorf Mini was the natural choice.

...which reminds me, I need to introduce him to SoN one of these days....

In all the MMO's I have played I have always had a selection of the availabe races and genders, generally working out to almost 50/50 in most cases. In LotRO it is a little harder to balance as they don't have female Dorf toons, otherwise my Mini would have been a female Dorf instead of a male Dorf.

I tend to look at the models and see which of the race/gender models have the attributes I think the class requires, then I factor in the name that I am intending for the toon, and then make the selection from there.

From what I have seen to date the Skirmish Soldiers are generally a pretty poor bunch. Bad logic, weak attributes and lack of control functions combine to give a very poor outcome.

Despite the Protector model being supposed to tank they are generally unable to pull the skin off a rice pudding, let alone a mob off your toon.

If you can do reasonable DPS one of the best "tanks" seems to be a well attributed Herbalist. I use one with my Burglar - she tanks and heals herself while I mezz and nuke the baddies, so it may well be worth your while giving a Herbie a try.

Now that all my skirmish points got refunded I can start over. I was wondering what other fellow Lore-Masters found sucessful in Skirmishes. I previously rolled with a Protector and it seemed to work well but as I leveled it had a had a hard time holding threat. So I was thinking a Bannerguard or Herbalist might be good but I can't decide. I'm level 56 now so I'm wondering what is the recommended Soldier for a LM. Also what pet has been most effective. In moria my eagle has been the best but I know it's all situational and I just got my big cat trying to find what It's good for.

Any help would be appreciated.
